Royces Farms BBQ, Stockton

Good food, good service! Our waiter who I think may also be the owner was a one man show tonight and took care of all 8 of our tables with fast and courteous service. We had the riblets as a starter, trip tip sandwhich for dinner, and peach cobbler for dessert. Food was great, tri tip needed a little more seasoning for my taste, but all in all food was good, place was clean, and nice quiet environment. We live closeby so I m looking forward to making this a regular dining spot for me and my family!

if you want good ribs....dont stop here they taste like gas and soot!!!

We love this locally owned bbq restaurant. Great casual food, friendly staff, usually quick service. The owner often comes out to chat. I especially love the bbq salmon.....so good! We go here 1-2 times a month.

WONT BE BACK! My wife and I went to Royce Farms BBQ, we got there and was seated and began our wait, about 3 or 4 mins later another party was seated in the table next to us, they promptly got a server (it did sound like they knew the server) ok at least 5 or 7 mins later still not even a server to ask us for water or anything with servers passing us up time and again I finally ask one for service. I had the chicken and ribs and my wife had the steak, the food was ok not too bad but not setting the world on fire. Once we were served, if we needed anything we had to flag down someone, the busboy replenished our drinks cause the waitress forgot about us I guess, once again we had to flag her down for some extra napkins and got AN EYE ROLL yes an eye roll, unbelievable. This place has terrible service they made us feel as if they were doing us a favor by letting us eat there, we wont be back ever, we didnt want to leave a tip but we did, that will be the last money that they see from us.

The best ribs & pesto in town! We've been to Royce Farms many times and always had excellent food and great service. The staff are friendly and always eager to offer menu suggestions and daily specials. Taco Tuesdays are a yummy change of pace and the breakfast is fabulous and reasonably priced. Keep it up Dave!

Royce Farms BBQ: Fine food excellent cook good service for greet tri tip they have it. Car Cruisin is great

This place is terrible. Do not go here for BBQ. It sucked. The ribs were dry and tasted like charcoal and lighter fluid! It tasted as if it had dropped to the bottom of the grill and they served it anyway. The tri-tip was also dry and flavorless. Sides were average at best. I do NOT RECOMMEND this place AT ALL. TERRIBLE FOOD.

The chicken is good, the beef wasn't that good though. The service can be a little slow sometimes, but the food is generally good.

We tried two of their signature dishes: Chili & Ribs. Chili was average (Wendy's Fast Food chili has more flavor & spice). Ribs were poor (undercook, no seasoning, cold): had better ribs at Tony Roma's & Roadhouse (along with great service). We also tried Buffalo Wings (undercooked & tasted like the frozen pack from the Grocery Store). We also tried the Salmon Salad (salmon was surprisingly good, but the salad could have used a little more work). Overall, we would not recommend nor go back to Royce Farms.
