Falafel Drive in
Description
This original Bay Area Middle Eastern joint looks like a beat-up drive-in, but it is one of San Jose's oldest foreign restaurants. In fact, it is a landmark. Since the 1960s, the falafels and gyros have been some of the best anywhere, and hardly anything on the menu is over $7. People from all over the world have visited this place, and many repeat customers have been coming for 15 to 20 years. It is highly recommended and they accept only cash.
Pathetic!!!
The Pita was cold - taken out of the refrigerator, the Falafel was probably made a few hours earlier and when asked, the owner was very rude and arrogant.
Seems he paid money to be featured on Food Network Channel. If you feel like throwing away your money, eat here.
There are quite a few places serving hot (freshly made) Falafels and every money worth it.
I Never EVER will go to Falafel Drive-in and so would all my family and friends.
Whatever made Guy Fiery go to this crappy place.
My wife and I love Falafel's Drive-in. In fact it's by promising me lunch there that she get's me to go to the mall with her. We ate there today and the place was hopping. We've tried other falafel places in the area but none of them compare.
This place is popular for some reason I'm not sure why? This is the first and last time I will eat there. The food taste horrible and disgusting. The smell seems to smell like dog food. Never in my life I want to return this place.
Whoa, I work down the street from this place and there is no parking ever during lunch and there is no such thing is reservation. It's just a walk-thru line and first-come-first serve seatings. Food is okay but nothing to rave about.
Great place for a quick Falafal on San Carlos. Been there for years. Excellent food. Got me hooked on Falafals many years ago. Great people work there, very friendly. One tasty treat for lunch
