Falafel Drive in, San Jose

I haven't been to Falafel Drive In for about 30 years but plan on going there very soon because my wife has never had a falafel...I remember these scrumtious little beauties from my high school days...but have moved away from the bay area, so I miss them very much...I actually went to high school with William Nijmeh, it was all he talked about was his familys' restaurant...Falafel Drive In

Greatest Falafels in San Jose, a must try!!! It was even shown on Diners, Drive-in and Dives on Food Network.

This place is legendary for us native San Joseans. If I could rent a little corner of floor in the back to crash out I'd probably live my days happier than most. The food at this place is basic and phenomenal, concurrently. Try it, love it, live it... all I hafta say bout that

Diamond in the rough, with an early closing time. It's simple, not that expensive but super delish! And the portion sizes are fair. Friendly people...awesome local falafel

I have referred many of my client's (I am a party planner) to Falafel Drive-in for Excellent Food and Excellent Value - great if you are having a party with lots of vegetarians or if you just want something a little different. Very fresh! Very Yummy! Only drawback is they don't like to take your order in advance - they want it and hour or so before you come to pick-up, that can a little nerve-wracking on the day of a party. Get the lunch special with the fresh banna shake. Most seating outside covered, fine except for the wettest of days. Easy to find on San Carlos between 880 and Bascom Ave.

Not much to look at, it's in a pretty run down area, and you have to eat outside, but... man, fresh ingredients, steady flow of customers, very tasty food, and cheap prices - this is one of those places you go out of your way to eat at.

I love this falafel , yum, yum It is fast and healthy I don't think there is any food taste like this I highly recommend this place I never thought fast food can be healthy
