This seems to be the most popular restaurant at Oakridge Mall. It's almost always crowded. I like it because of the variety of dishes and the ambience. Most dishes are really huge, enough for 2 people.
The restaurant is large with tall ceilings and mostly booth-type seating. It also has a large, separate bar area where you can order food as well as drinks.
Great place for food/drinks before or after a movie or shopping at the mall. Since it is part of the mall, there is a large parking lot, but it fills up pretty fast, especially on weekend evenings.
The 2 busiest restaurants in San Jose are The Cheesecake Factory Valley Fair Mall and The Cheesecake Factory Oakridge Mall. When most restaurants are floundering and closing, this place is still packed every night. Anybody who says the food is bad is simply rediculous. Sure the wait is long but it is well worth it. Try going to BJ's or CPK. You might in get in quicker, but the service is terrible and the food is awful. It's just obvious that the Cheesecake Factory is doing things right. All of these negative reviews are ignorant and inaccurate. Want proof? Look at how long their waits are on the weekends while the rest of these restaurants are empty. If people are waiting 45-60 minutes while they could be sat immediately at a restaurant within close proximity says something about the restaurant that is packed full.
I love the Cheese Factory in San Jose, CA (off of Blossom Hill or at the Westfield Oakridge Mall) it is one of the places I like to eat in an informal setting. Try their Miso Salmon on rice with french beans. It is so delicious! :-) I like to eat in the bar area where they have excellent servers. The atmosphere is noisy which is great for families. Warning: Come to the restaurant from 11 to 5 pm to avoid the long wait to be seated. Also, parking is terrible unless you valet park in this busy mall. Or you can park in the ground parking and parking garage. Tip: Park near Starbucks or across the street or just spot someone going to their car.
Menu sucks. Plus me and my family never got waited on here. Forget it. If you like bullshit and an establishment full of noise and ruckus then this is the place for you. No service here what so ever.
I love Cheesecake! They have a WIDE! selection and are alittle high priced but its worth it!.I recommed the Bang,Bang chicken and shrimp and the Crusted Chicken Ramano.
I've eaten at several different Cheesecake Factories, and, like them all, this one had excellent customer service, an amazingly extensive menu, and huge portions. And, as always, the food was excellent.
