In a city that has a sea of terrible eating establishements thank God there are a few islands of relief. Frankie, Johnnie and Lugi Too! is one of them. Pick you choice from pasta, pizza, salads, bread (yes, a variety of bread) soups or even sandwiches, this place does them well. And the serive is good too. Most of the time, the place is bustling with locals going in and out, a good sign for any place that serves food. I highly reccomend this place.
I love this restaurant..Ive tryed their pizza which is the best ive ever had.Ive tryed there Veal Scallopini, and their Spaghetti and meatballs..Everything ive ever had is absolutely delicious..The service is great, the Restaurant is clean..Highly recommend eating here...I strayed last week.We ate Pizza elsewhere,Ill never stray again..Thankyou,for the best in everything you serve!!!!
A group of about 18 colleagues and spouses went to FJLT for an annual end-of-year dinner. The ambience was fun, the food was good, and the servers were able to keep up with requests from 18 different people. Many of the diners pre-ordered, so that made it even faster. The pizza, Tortellini & Scallops alla Vodka, and Chicken & Sausage Cacciatore were tasty. (I like to sample others' food!) The desserts were not that good. I'm returning in a few weeks with some of my colleagues!
Haven't had anything but their pizza, but it is superb. Their homemade sausage is excellent, great tasting sauce, great ingredients, and they LOAD their pizzas up with toppings. No skimping here, no complaining about only a couple of pepperonis per slice. We usually do take-out, but have eaten at the restaurant as well. Highly recommended.
Frankie, Johnnie and Luigi's (FJL) is a great Italian restaurant that also serves excelent pizza. In the past, I would have said there are 4 decent pizza places in the bay area (Gay Ninties, Primo's, Skipolina's and Pizzaria Uno). Add FJL to the list. And the rest of the menu is fantastic as well. Try the Veal or Chicken Parm.
