You people must not like Mexican food. Yeah, the service is not the fastest, but what do you expect from a small family run business. The food is Amazing! This is hands down my favorite place to eat in all of Silicon Valley. The Super Tacos are excellent Al Pastor (my favorite), Carne Asada, or even Chorizo. Avocado and all! The Burritos are also amazing. The subtle flavors in the Chile Verde will give your tongue something to remember. But what I dream of at night are the chips and salsa and the Super Chavalis. The chips flake apart in your mouth, and the salsa is hot but with lots of flavor. Top it off with a Super Chavalis, and you won't mind waiting for the waitress. A Super Chavalis (I call it Nectar of the Gods) is a giant salt-rimmed frosted chalice full of beer, combined with lime and Taquila. It gets crowded, so go early.... No wait, you know what, this place is not that good. don't bother. hehe.

Food only average, service the worst, the atmosphere well not very friendly. We went for dinner, had a coupon for buy one get one free. I presented the coupon when I went to pay the bill. The woman was smug, rude, looked at the coupon and said you have to present it when you order. I looked and yes that is what it said in smaller print. I asked what is the difference, is the food different? Her attitude again was smug and offered no answer other than you have to read the coupon. I told her there was no reason for this. Well, all I can say is La Victoria is hands down better than this and so is La Mordida. They both have excellent authentic food and they certainly appreciate their customers. Not like this, I guess they don't need the business, I will not be going back, there are better choices.

BEST FOOD WORST SERVICE. REFRIED BEANS NOT TO BE MISSED. Service is really hit and miss. Food is always delicious. Three locations all with lower then I consider acceptable service. However I have been getting better service now that I smile and say thank you very graciously. Their lack of service is actual a coordinateed plan that drives away most gringos. So if your a vanilla face smile and say thank you when the bring your chips. This the best way to get decent service. Also order as soon as your chips come out because you may not see your server for ten or more minutes.

I remember the first time my sister took me,my other sister, and cousin to this restaurant....Mmmmmmm was it tasty. Their food is excellent, and the chavela's OH MY GOSH! if your not a beer drinker, you will be after having one of their chavela's. The service was good, for the amount of people being their that day. I happened to see my nephew their that same day, doesn't that say enough about this place. I can never pronounce the name right.........Taqe-plaque. Oh well, I will definately go back again, again and again!
