Great Wall Chinese Restaurant, San Jose

This is a great place to eat. Any time you find a tucked away little hole in the wall in Willow Glen - it's going to be good. I eat here all the time and it's very good. You won't be disappointed.

There are about hundreds of Chinese restaurants in San Jose. So the next time you find yourself hungry stop by Great Wall Chinese Restaurant. You won't be sorry. I stopped by about a week ago for a lunch. It was my first time since i saw such good ratings about the place, so i figured ill check it out. I was greeted warmly and seated immediately. The menu was clear and easy to read but was very hard to order from. Why? Because i wanted one of everything on the menu! I ordered walnut prawns, side dish of white rice and a nice cold soda. The walnut prawns was to die for! Especially with the sauce they give you, they were made with perfection! I also had a dish of Mongolian beef, the meat tasted fresh and cooked just right. I was very satisfied with my meal the price is just right! I will be coming back to this restaurant very soon. Be sure to check this place out.

I've been to Great Wall numerous times, and i'd have to say it never ceases to amaze me. The salt baked salmon and hot & spicy chicken are just two of my favorite dishes there. The service is fantastic, food is delicious, and you really get your money's worth here. Trust me that you won't regret your visit when you come to the Great Wall, but it does get busy fast, so you should make reservations.

I tried this place because we had not found the ultimate Chinese food joint. It was really good. I gave it a 4 star because I reserve the 5's for something really special. If you in the Willow Glen / San Jose area this is one of the best options. The egg rolls are delicious and the sweet and sour pork was absolutely perfect.

I have been to this Restaurant couple times and I tried different food. It was so great and I love them all. The salt baked salmon and hot spicy prawns are my favourite! and the chicken salad too!

I'm new to the area and checked on Yahoo where to get my Chinese fix. Saw that Great Wall had 5 stars so I went and checked it out. Awesome food, super friendly people and great pricing. I'll be back soon.
