Dalat Restaurant, San Jose

This is a great place to eat a hot and delicious Vietnamese soup. I love their Special Dalat soup with yellow and white noodles. I also love #83 (Stir fried: meet, shrimp, and vegetables)and #72 (Deep fried chicken with rice and salad). I have been a costumer since 2001... it's been over 8 years. It's close to where I work and the food is always fresh!

My girlfriend has been going to this place for years. We eat at this place for one dish only. #52 dry with white or clear noodles. I don't eat anything else other than #52. It's a little hole in the wall but alot of the asian community know of this place. It's isn't fancy or anything nice inside and service is what you would expect from a vietnamese restaurant that isn't a fusion of some type. They're not there to impress you with looks or service. It's all about the food here.

Dalat is one of my favorites.....Anyone that is a big pho lover should take a break and try Dalat located in the heart of downtown San Jose by SJSU. They serve your soup wet or dry. I like my soup wet, and a lot of customers are there for the Jumbo shrimps and the crap feet. Don't hesitate to try their half crispy chicken over rice! I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. Just by posting this review I'm already craving for their soup.
