The best coffee drinks and best coffee beans in the bay area!! Wish they would open a location in Los Gatos.

real gem at south bay. the location is little bit odd, but once you get in, you feel at home. fair-trade coffee and small collection of pastry from Satuma bakery. Cool live music over the weekend.. great coffee, great crowd, good service and nice ambiance.. i hope they could open chains sometime..

Yes, the smokers do congregate at the entrance, but you'd be hard pressed to find a better brew.

This place is lame. I've been there twice and have heard great things about there coffee but, both times I ran into this complete douchebag. Some gay asian dude with rainbow socks that just loves to be an a rude prick for some reason. The place is pretty slow and crowded as well. My coffee was great the first time and burnt the second time. Needless to say until that rude loser is fired I won't be visiting again.

Gone downhill since 2006, but still some serious coffee. AND I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT THE BARISTAS SHOWER. They now have a smoking section about 30 feet from the entrance (which is a HUGE improvement) and a lot more room to sit inside. The coffee is delicious and the baristas are very talented and intellegent individuals. If you are a true coffee lover, this place is worth a taste. The herbal tea is extraordinary and served in a cute little tea pot ;-) Next time you visit Barefoot and you're feeling adventurous, ask the curly haired girl with snake bites for a whim and she WILL make you something DELICIOUS! On a side note, some of you should really learn how to punctuate. You can't write a bad review about great coffee and intellegent people when you don't sound very bright yourself...sorry Thank you

Fun little coffee shop. Lots of places to sit & lots to look at. Coffee is HORRIBLE though. Tastes & smells burned. I want to like this place! I'd rather give them my $$ than a chain shop but it's just not very good.

The workers at this cafe take coffee very seriously. I know the guy that does a lot of the roasting, and this is not a run-of-the-mill strip mall coffee shop, although on the outside it may look that way. I have had their basic espresso drinks, but my favorite by far is the 'Dark Voodoo', which is a blend of coconut milk, half-n-half and whole milk with a bit of dark chocolate and 2 shots of espresso. Incredible ... simply incredible. The quality, service and selection of drinks, beans and swag is 5 star all the way.

I've only been there once and I don't drink a lot of coffee but I would if it was from Barefoot. It has a great feel, the coffee was excellent, and it was a relaxing place to be.

A Barefoot Blast

This coffee cafe (if that's not an entry for the Department of Redundancy Department, I don't know what is) makes the single most FABULOUS coffee anywhere in the valley. It sometimes takes awhile to get your order, but it's well worth the wait. The coffee is roasted and ground on-site, and the smell drowns out the smells of the Chinese fast food from next door yay. The decor is early living-in-your-parents'-basement, which is just what I need sometimes when I want to get away. Barefoot Coffee Roasters is the best coffee experience I've had in a long time, and is a fabulous antidote to McStarbucks.
