La Paloma Mexican Restaurant, Santa Clara

I have been eating at La Paloma for a long time. Never have I found a Mexican resturant with such amazing food and such wonderful service. I love this restaurant and would recommend it for family dinners and even a night for two.

This is the best Maxican food I've ever been to. Very crowded when I went, which is a Friday night. I ordered a fujita, with chicken and cilantro, and have been quite impressed by its taste.

I've been enjoying La Paloma since moving to Santa Clara in 2000. Drink specials and free food during happy hour, but I prefer to sit down in one of their large booths in the restaurant to enjoy their amazing Chile Colorado. I have to have it at least once a month.

This is a good, reliable favorite of mine. Food is usually served hot and fresh. Flavors are good, margaritas are tasty and the bill doesn't break the bank. I've had several great experiences here and consistently good ones.

We went to celebrate Cinco De Mayo yesterday and expected to have a great experience, and at the time we did. But we brought home our food that we hadn't eaten and when my partner ate her food today, within the food she found a broken, used toothpick, which she would have found yesterday at the resturant had she eaten it all. Naturally we were both sicken by this discovery. Its time for us to find another place that would not make this mistake and is cleaner.

Although the food was delicious, the service was HORRIBLE. I met a friend there for dinner and we were chatting and even though the restaurant was only half full - they couldnt wait to clear our table......as soon as the food was brought to our table - a minute later the guy was going around to all the table asking everyone if they wanted a box to go.....I mean c'mon let people enjoy their dinner......I will not be visiting this place again....the service was horrible and the wait staff could use some lessons in good manners - a smile goes a long way......a tip was only left because i felt compelled to leave it.....but I honestly didn't feel like they deserved it!!

I love this place. Anybody who likes Mexican food needs to go here! They have great service. The waitors are very kind to you. The food is fantastic! On Tuesday tehy have this special where order how many enchiladas you want and for $2. So like you want 2 enchiladas its $4.

go in for the daily specials, but you have to ask the waiter for it. Monday: kids special discount, Tues.: taco night, etc. Their chips are addicting and that is why I keep on coming back. I love their tacos and burritos. Service is sometimes slow because they are always busy and not always kind (usually from busy or stressful nights i guess). The food is at a reasonable price. Parking is often difficult to find and limited, so I would park by the apartments down the block.

This aint your New York City Mexican Restaurant.... Over 25 years our friends and family have been enjoying ourselves at this GREAT Santa Clara Mexican restaurant, and for good reason. Their food is always fresh, and authentic Mexican food made by Mexicans who know what Mexican food should taste like! And the Margaritas,... Unbelievable! this sounds like a Pace picante sauce commercial ;)
