Service? People are expecting good service at a Pho chain restaurant? That's like expecting healthy food from a McDonald's - you might be pleasantly surprised once in a while and get it, but you certainly don't go in expecting it. You go to a place like Pho Hoa for cheap, hot, open-late pho, not the service, so I can't really knock it for service like others seem to be. The food's adequate, but the prices are inching upwards and aren't the bargain they once were. If you're looking for predictable, if unspectacular food and chain-restaurant variety, this is the place.
Everytime it's late at night and my friends and I don't want Jack in the Box we go to Pho Hoa. Everytime I eat here the pho soup has soap in it. Tea is an additional 50 cents while everywhere else it's pretty much free (refills have an additional fee as well). The waiters and waitress are all quite rude and have an attitude unless you're their personal friends. The bowl is VERY small and for a fairly high price. If you wanted you couldn't even drown in it even if you where dying from their horrid tap water.
