Consistent and Cheap

This place is half American-ized Chinese food, but also some authentic stuff. Go with the Combo #1 if you want American style. Get any noodle dish if you want something more authentic. Chow Fun is awesome.

We have been eating at this restaurant for over 20+ years and the food and service is excellent. They had been closed for a year due to a fire, and we did not use any other restaurant until they re-built.

This is the best Chinese Restaurant around. No other Chinese Restaurant can compete. I have been going there for about 13 years. This location burned down in 2007 and I just found out they are open temporarely in San Jose at 10th and Williams. They will reopen this summer 2008. If you have never tried it you must. You won't regret it.

Although not full on ambience, they have some great chinese food for a good price. Some great lunch specials, but can be crowded. My new favorite take out in this area.

VERY good food. Lunch special is the way to go, item, rice, soup all for like 6 bucks. You get the restaurant taste for the chinese fast food price. Better than china stix in my opinion (big restaurant down the street) , and half the cost.

The food is terrible. I had the garlic chicken. Did not have a hint of garlic. It was too sweet. The texture of the food seemed like it was covered in uncooked flower or corn starch. And the oil taste. It taste like they used re-used old oil to cook our food. Horrible. The only thing good was the hot sour soup. Go to a Panda Express instead of this place. They should be ashamed of serving this food.

I've been going here since 1994 when a Chinese co-worker of mine knew some of the wait-staff. He ordered 7 dishes out of his head. Everything outstanding! I asked him to write down all them dishes and I returned to the restaurant with that list (in Chinese) for the next 5 times. After then, they knew what was on my wish list. I've never used a menu to this day! They recently reopened and it was like coming home. I love this place! It's nice to go to restaurant and they just know. Great food, great staff, wonderful owner. Thanks for reopening after the fire.
