Good Food .. :) LIKED this place .. went for valentines day breakfast sat by a table overlooking ocean was awesome ..not a long wait .. Clean (SMALL only 10 talbes but in summer they have outside patio) was good .. Food was presentable .. very satisfied Loved there breakfast and you cannot beat the view .. Its at the end of wharf would definately recomend :)

We have been visiting the Dolphin for nearly thirty years. We can only speak for the Red Clam Chowder that we order at the side window and enjoy at one of the picnic tables or (if it's cold) in our car while we enjoy the view. It's a tasty alternative to the predominate Boston variety found everywhere. While it varies somewhat as soups do when made from scratch each day, it always has an impressive amount of tender clam meat and a little jalapeno zip. Service has been good to okay -- an occassional mix-up over the years, things like being handed white chowder instead of red or finding our order was overlooked. Not surprising when a crowd of people are ordering through a small window from a guy in a tiny kitchen in high gear.

We usually visit the place but this is the first time that we encountered this horrible experienced.Me, my wife and my daughter were having a good time eating in the table outside when one of the employee from their kitchen starting to threw dirty rubber rugs from the kitchen near our table ignoring us totally.When he was starting to clean the rugs by a water hose, we immediately call his attention that the water sprinkled to our food and he just casually told us, in a rude manner, that he has to do it, instead of making an apology or just tell us if we could just transfer to safer place. We just took our food and leave. We tried to report it to the manager and to our surprise, instead of giving discipline to that employee, he just told us Sorry. Moral lesson to us. Don't ever ever ever come back to the place. And whoever the owner of Dolphin Restaurant, We are so sorry for you Sir because you hired an employees that are rude, without good moral character and no respect to customers.
