Outback Steakhouse, Cupertino

We had dinner at this location on Saturday night and I ordered their new California Chicken Salad. From the first bite I was thinking the dressing wasn't right with the salad because it tasted 'wrong'. About 1/2 way through (we were trying to make a show so I didn't have time to ask for something else) I came to the conclusion the Feta tasted 'spoiled'. It tasted like 'blue cheese'...Feta tastes nothing like blue cheese so I knew something was wrong. :( I've had problems since about 4hrs after the meal...been in bed ever since. :( I love the Outback but not so much this time! They did comp the salad but I am not only out sick time from work, I was supposed to have a photo shoot today that would pay me $200. :( x A LOT....

My family and I love going to eat at the Outback Steakhouse in Cupertino because of the friendly staff and personable people who can be found there. These people really make you feel right at home when you come in. My drinks were almost as good as I can make and our server is always friendly and atentive. If you haven't been in to visit this gang, you might want to plan on it.

The steaks here are good, when they get it right. My husband and I both had to send our steaks back twice because they were raw. No joke. The good thing though...our meal was free due to this problem. So, for a free steak it was pretty good! The salads weren't great though. And the shrimp still had that gross, black, slimy part on them. Go for the steaks and nothing else and hope they are cooked right the 1st time.

good food, spottty service. Outback could save money by spending less on advertisement and more on training their servers.

When dealing with restaurants, I expect to deal with real people. I called this place and got a recording. That did it - I wont go there.

This is definately one of my favorite steak restaurants. Love the Rib Eye. My other favorite is the Crab Legs.. they are huge. This location does get busy but there service is good for a chain restaurant. Food is always great and cooked the way I like. I would definately recommend this restaurant and location.

How can you go wrong at Outback? I’ve eaten at several different locations across the country an find this place to be very consistent in the quality and taste of their food. This location is large enough to accommodate lots of people, but there always seems to be a wait (which should tell you about the popularity of this place). The Outback Special is a favorite, along with the ribs. Love the Bloomin’ Onion!

The food wasn't horrible, but I've had better. My 9 oz. steak was pretty good, but I had asked for medium rare and there was not a bit of pink/red on it. Another person with me had a 16 oz. steak which he ordered medium well, but it arrived totally pink with about a total of three inches of fat. The blooming onion wasn't horrible, but it was a bit over-fried. The server was nice. He gave us plently of refills on drinks and was quite attentive. We came at a good time; 4pm on a Saturday, so it didn't start off crowded, but by the time we left, it was busy. So, with the busyiness, it seemed as though other people thought highly of the place, however, we didn't think of it as spectacular. I'm not sure if we'll go again.

I decided to bring a group of friends there after an outing. Unfortunately, there was a bone in my food and it cracked my tooth. Had to get a crown on my perfectly healthy tooth in which I just got a checkup. They wouldn't admit any wrong doing. So I will never go there again or recommend them. Besides the food and beer are better at BJ's located across the street.
