Olarn Thai Cuisine, Cupertino

According to the other reviews, ambience and service was excellent. Food was not as excellent as expected but it was good. Food didn't had the Thai Spice :).

The service there is great and the food is served fast. I love the seating arrangements too! You could sit in a traditional Thai way or take a regular seat. I was surprised that they didn't have a spicy scale though. The food was good,but a bit too spicy for some people. Not all dishes were spicy though.It is good place for people who like there food hot and spicy or unique tastes.

I think we are going to make it a habit going to Olarn :) Good service and atmosphere, the food is delicious.

Just awesome food and service. Try Red curry .Its the best in bay area.Very good and silent environment just makes you feel you are in thailand. Service is good and people are very well mannered. I like it and recommened to all.

When you eat here they have you take off your shoes and sit in what can best be described as a little pit in which each table is situated. I've never been to Thailand, but I've got to believe that something that odd has to be culturally authentic. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was quite good. This is a good place to bring a small group of friends.

Olarn seems to have the best Thai food in town - they seem to always make things really fresh - plus their helpings are really big (comapred to some other Thai places). I also like the fact that they have low seating - which provides a better ambiance.

Likes: Conveniently located, plenty of parking, nice ambience, not crowed when we visited (Sat lunch). The Red Curry was excellent. The soup (Tom Kha) was great also. The portions were sizable. Dislikes: The Fried Rice and Steamed Rice were so-so (a bit overdone for my taste).

my favorite Thai place

My aunt and uncle were in town with a massive craving for Thai food. Since they had lived in Thailand for almost a decade, I had to find a really authentic place. But I was new to the area and didn't know any Thai restaurants yet! We went to Olard Thai Cuisine without any expectations and with more than a little trepidation. But I am SO glad we went there! Everything we tried was good or excellent, and was served with a smile. The ambiance is cosy and the prices are very reasonable. My wife and I loved the Tom Kha soup so much that we placed a huge order for our next party and it was a real hit! This cosy little restaurant has earned a place on my shortlist of favorite restaurants. Highly recommended.
