Effie's Restaurant & Bar, Campbell

Go to Denny's! We sat on the Patio. We got their at 10am their was one other family their, who got their menus. The waitress comes out, takes their order, does not acknowledge us. After 15 minutes I go in and ask for menus and coffee. The waitress helps the table next to us, I try and get her attention and she ignores us. I go BACK into the restaurant to get someone to take our order, after another 15 to 20 minutes, our order is taken THAN we got coffee. My husband insisted we stay. UGH! WTH! Than we get a salt shaker and the salt was so crusted inside that it didn't come out of the shaker!! I used to go here, never again!

I have been going to Effie's for 5 years and it is my favorite place. I can enjoy a great meal , joke with the excellent employees and not feel rushed when I read my newspaper. It has an outside patio but you're not bothered by traffic. I LUV Effie's. Check it out.

Effie's is a great little place to hang at. I mainly come here for karaoke though I haven't been here in quite a while it's worth coming to. The lounge is extremely clean and the bartenders and waitresses are very nice and friendly. It's another option for those who desire to hear good karaoke. They've got karaoke 5 nights a week Tuesday through Saturday. I come usually on Tuesday nights when I get the chance. The Jocks who host karaoke always tend to play country music in between singers which is good 'cause I listen to country and most of the regulars here sing country music.

I've heard many great things about their food, so finally I tried it...The Effie's Burger was/is the best I've had in the Bay...I am supper picky with food, but all of the food I've tried from Effies has been really REALLY good. The Staff is amazing and always greet with a smile...love this place! would recomend to Everyone!!

I live very close to Effie's. This restaurant/bar has been around many years. They have magnificant food and wonderful service. During the Holidays, it is decorated in the MOST beautiful ways. They have a Kareoke Bar that is very well-known and popular. We were just saying the other day that we hope that is one place that will always be there. Everyone (patrons and staff alike) always have a smile on their face (and it's sincere). Drop in and tell Ali (the owner) that Jerry and Val sent you!

My husband and I had been looking for a nice place to go for dinner and karaoke - and we found it in Effie's. We cruise alot, and one thing that's great with cruising is that after having a nice dinner, you don't have to get back into the car and go somewhere else for dancing, or having a few drinks etc. Effie's fills the bill - and more! We had their steak for two special for $35! What a delicious dinner, and a great value! We each selected the steak we wanted from their vast menu. It came with potato, salad or soup, bread, veggies... Before that, they brought out a large platter of appetizers (that were included in the special) and we shared a very nice dessert. There was no way we could eat all that food, and finished it up for lunch the next day! After dinner, we went into their cocktail lounge for Ericka's Karaoke. The bar was cozy and inviting, and we felt welcomed right off the bat! I enjoy singing, and their selection of songs is amazing! I quickly noticed as the evening progressed that most of the people were regulars - a slightly older crowd over-all (35-65 years old I'd say). And, the singers ranged from awful to excellet - still, everyone was applauded enthusiasticly. We came back the following weekend after a concert, and were welcomed by name! We plan to return again really soon.
