Gaeta's Taqueria, Gilroy

i read the last review a couple months ago. So I happened to be in town (outlets). Wanted to try that #14 plate. AWESOME! So now I've been there a total of around 6 times. I come on purpose just for the Chile Verde and Menudo! I suggest #30, a burrito with choice of meat inside and the chile verde smothered outside. WOW! The bowl of menudo is so good i dont really put any extras (lemon, oregano, etc..) in it.

Not very impressive on the inside, but the friendly staff and the delicious and very authentic dishes more than make up for it.

They have great authentic Mexican Food. We use it for takeout.

Gaeta's is a delicious restaurant with reasonable prices and the customer service is great.

I have been going to Gaeta's for years and have never been dissappointed. The service is fast and friendly by the Gaeta family. The breakfast burritos are great and my favorite for lunch or dinner are the Carnitas. We moved out of state 4 years ago but always try to eat there when we return to Gilroy.

The atmosphere is not much, but the food is soooo good, who cares? If you want authentic mexican food, this is the place to go.
