Mary's Pizza Shack, Petaluma

Slow, inconsistant food. Heard from several people they have bad treatment of employee 's. But sticking to the food, its VERY expensive, slow and inconsistant. 2 stars. Checking other locations, three stars is the best for any of their locations. Consistantly bad everywhere ;)

The pizza was okay, but the service is the slowest of any pizza place in Petaluma. Also, if you have a cell phone with a non-Petaluma area code (not everyone was born in Petaluma), they can't enter your phone number into their antiquated computer system. Anyway, it took them 2 hours to get our pizza to us because they burnt the first one and couldn't call us to tell us. We won't be ordering from these idiots again.

I'd have to say, I'm not a huge fan of their pizza. I don't know why, it just doesn't taste how a pizza should taste. But I do love their pasta's. I only ever get my pasta from Mary's when we go out now.

When Mary was alive, and for a few years after she passed away, the pizza was the best I have ever tasted. Unfortunately, now that it has become so corporate, there is no longer any quality control to speak of. Now when I order a pizza it has half the toppings it used to, the outer crust now extends 2+ inches into the pizza as opposed to the one or less inches it used to. I would not recommend going there if you want a pizza. You're better off going to Round Table, where they are at least consistent when making their pizzas. Borolos is a great choice if you're willing to drive to pick up your pizza. They have many tasty combos to chose from. That's where I go now.

We used to get great pizza delivered from Mary's. Now I refuse to go there because they're either always late (with a lame excuse or flat out lie about why), the pizza is cold, it's the wrong pizza, or it's soggy. Once it was even all of the above! Maybe eating in the restaurant is still as good as I remember it, but I don't recommend delivery for anyone.

Sometimes I have had great pizza ther and other times it is greasy.
