This is a little neighborhood coffee shop with great hot and iced Vietnamese coffee.
It's a gathering spot for lots of local Vietnamese fellows who hang out and play pool, video games, and watch TV. The people are friendly, don't let the glances given a newcomer put you off.
The lady who runs the place, Van, makes a fantastic homemade Vietnamese meatball sandwich, her other sandwich is a combination pork with pate', also delicious and reasonably priced also!
One day I went in for a sandwich, and she was out of rolls, on seeing my disappointment, one of the older fellows there, asked her for some money, and hoofed across the way to the San Pablo supermarket to buy a bag, he was back with rolls in hand before I realized what was going on.
like I said, the people are friendly!, great coffee and 2 types of delicious sandwiches are a bonus.
Authentic and absolutely no-frills.
