Great little Japanese homestyle cooking spot. Service can be a tad slow - as there seems to be only one cook & one waitress even at the busiest times - but it's worth the wait. I love their Donburi dishes - Oyako Don (rice bowl with seasoned chicken, scallions & creamy egg 'parent and child donburi' and Yakuniku don (rice bowl topped with very thinly sliced marinated grilled beef - tender & flavorful - marinaded in soysauce, mirin, sesame oil - slightly sweet but not so sweet as teriyaki. Their tempura udon is in a nicely seasoned broth - but vegetables are minimal - just a few greens.
A very small but wonderful place loacted in downtown Cotati. The staff are friendly and the food is delicious. It is one of the few Japanese restaurants in the area owned by a Japanese owner who is also the chef. Prices are reasonable and it is very casual.
