I've been going to this restaurant the last 2 years each time I visit my sister and my niece in that area. For the money that I pay, I can't complain and I'll certainly go back.
Thursday thru Sunday night are good nights where you can eat deep fried shrimps, crab in oyster sauce, some vegetables, lo mein, beef with brocolli, and fried chicken-- these are my favorites. I love their crabs, it's very tasty.
My sister stacks her plate with oyster, shrimps, squid, mushroom and a variety of stir fries.
OMG try the empire buffet I am always going to seafood buffets and this one is one of the very best. please there are 2 very wrong reviews of this buffet posted. The price 4 dinner mon-thurs is $ 10.99 fri-sun 11.99 n lunch is always $ 7.25 the crab is plentiful (2 variety's) the mussels the best in bay area and the everyone enjoys the asian hot entree's. For desert its mostly gonna be a great selection of fresh fruits. Sadly the other desert items are non distinctive. Dont be misleed by devious posters. This is a good buffet, With excellent service and variety. There are dozens of great sea food buffets in the area and this a very good one.
If you are a fan of substandard food...this is the place for you. The food is fairly terrible and certainly devoid of nutritional value. When you do go in or when I see lines out the door...I notice the folks are either obese or families on a budget. The most bang for you buck...I guess.
The presentation of all the food when you walk in the door gives you hope that the food will be great - however, it is mediocre food at best. $30 for a buffet lunch for two is expensive considering the neighborhood and the quality of the food. There are WAY more buffets that have slightly lower prices that are in fancier neighborhoods and they also have MUCH better food. I would NOT recommend this buffet to anyone who wants a good meal at a fair price.
The food was great, the waiters just get you drinks but stand there most of the time just waiting for you to leave. This is what i found to be the disturbing thing at the restaurant. I think they have a time limit for you to be there, unlike any other restaurant. Nonetheless food was great, scenery was great, and service was poor. So if you go here just expect to have your waiter just standing there...waiting and waiting for you to clear the table.
