Taqueria San Jose is one of the best ones in Marin, I was there recently with my family and it looks like they made some changes, better light, more ventilation.
My only dissapointment was that my 11yrs old son was with us, and they had the TV on,with inappropiate movie for being a family place, they were other kids looking at the TV too, it was so violent (someone about to rape a women, and a lot more violence) it was disturbing to us i had to sit my son in a different chair so he wouldn't see the TV but you could hear the screaming, I could not take it anymore and had to ask one of the employees to please change the channel, which he did except the other channel was even worse, we had to leave the taqueria instead.. This place has become a family restaurant therefore NONE of those movies should be played on TV, wheater channel, news or cartoons or any family station should be on (of course the cashier and the guys that were there were enjoying the movie) but since this is not a bar you should consider more appropiate shows. We will only be back again if we see that the TV problem is taken care of...otherwise we'll be sorry but we'll have to find a different mexican taqueria.
By the way the food was excellent as always, too bad we had to pack.
I hope the manager makes these good changes, because we'll like to come back.
