Mary's Pizza Shack, Rohnert Park

This is a place where you go to talk and relax. Order your drinks, they bring you warm bread with the butter underneath, so it will melt on the bread. It has great food and the servers are friendly and helpful. Worth every cent! If it's a pick up, grab their bread sticks if you have to wait, they're warm from the oven and melt in your mouth. Slow, inconsistant food. Heard from several people they have bad treatment of employee 's. But sticking to the food, its VERY expensive, slow and inconsistant. 2 stars. Checking other locations, three stars is the best for any of their locations. Consistantly bad everywhere ;)

Been away from nor cal for 6yrs stop at Mary the first nite and its still as good as I remember!!!!!

Mary's pastas are yummy- especially the chicken parmesan and anything with pesto on it. They have salads included with all pastas and they have the most toppings I've ever seen on a dinner salad- lettuce, 3 bean salad, carrots, mushrooms, tomatoes, cheese, beet, salami, black pepper and .... I think I got most of them. I order the pizza crispy otherwise it gets a little soggy in the middle from all the toppings, but it's good. The pesto sticks, garlic bread and breadsticks are to die for. Love the Marys!!

We have been going to Mary's Pizza Shack in Rohnert Park almost every week for literally decades starting when they were in Cotati. Obviously we wouldn't keep coming back unless we really enjoyed it. The spaghetti and meatballs and Linguini w/ clams are our favorites but meatball sandwiches and of course pizza are also yummy. Staff is friendly and efficient. We always see someone we know among the other guests. It feels like going to a favorite relative's home for dinner and a reunion. Love it!

When Mary was alive, and for a few years after she passed away, the pizza was the best I have ever tasted. Unfortunately, now that it has become so corporate, there is no longer any quality control to speak of. Now when I order a pizza it has half the toppings it used to, the outer crust now extends 2+ inches into the pizza as opposed to the one or less inches it used to. I would not recommend going there if you want a pizza. You're better off going to Round Table, where they are at least consistent when making their pizzas. Borolos is a great choice if you're willing to drive to pick up your pizza. They have many tasty combos to chose from. That's where I go now when I want a really good pizza.

Mary's is always my first choice for Pizza. They also make amazing salads, and the Garlic bread is fantastic. I would not make the Pasta my first choice it can be hit or miss. Stick with the Pizza and salad.
