Il Davide Restaurant, San Rafael

A friend and I recently went to eat here and it was OK. At best. It was forgetable and entirely overpriced. Your money is better spent elsewhere. They charge per soda and a kids meal is at least $8.

MyIwife and I ate at il davide while in San Rafael house sitting for her sister and brother-in-law. What a teriffice dining experience. Our salads were fresh and flavorful and my veal chop was one of the best I can recall. My wife's crab ravioli was fresh and full of crab meat. The service was impecable as well. Try it! You'll like it!!

I COME BACK OVER AND OVER BECAUSE OF THE CONSISTANTLY GREAT FOOD, GREAT SERVICE AND RELAXING,( THOUGH AT TIMES, WEEKENDS, A BIT NOISY-LIKE ALL POPULAR RESTAURANTS), The food just seems to get better with time. After 15 years they keep up with new menu items and hold to past favorites, You will be happy you go, as I always am....love the berry cobbler

Since owner-Chef David Haydon has been back the food and service has drastically improved ! There's some new new innovative dishes that are delicious !Had the Lamb crespelle that was simply to die for !Il Davide is better than ever!

I heard great things about this place from friends, for Italian it is not one of our favorites.

I like this restaurant. They also do a lunch prefixe salad and pasta for $10, dinner is 3 course for $30. I like their server Dina, she makes you feel so welcome and so any faults I might have with the food is made up for by a generally good feeling there.

Good risottos, on special for lunch (a bargain $10). Good value, nice people.

Consistently very good Northern Italian food.

Good Italian food and interesting wine flights that nicely compliment the food. Fish specials are recommended.
