When I want to dine out and think of halibut snapper, trout, and sand dabs, I think: Pacific Cafe.
Something to be mindful in this busy world: things that are consistent and good are valuable. The dining experience here is always warm and friendly...the owner has been there for 36 years and knows fish. Go and have a good time.
There's a partyroom for 7 or more...book your next celebration, you won't be disappointed!!
Owned by the same Pacific Cafe family with the original location on Geary at 34th Ave. Same menu, more room than the SF location, plenty of parking in the lot behind this building. Free glass of Inglenook Chablis while you wait for your table. Typical dinner with starter soup or salad, fish selection with vegetables and a dessert will run you $30. Add $12 if you drink 2 glasses of wine. Food is steady if unremarkable. Fish is fresh, prepared simply and adventurous diners may feel it's a bit bland. I like it. About the same flavors as the San Rafael Seafood Peddler. This Pacific Cafe dining room is quieter & more calm than Seafood Peddler. Location is next to College of Marin. Address header says city is Greenbrae, it's actually Kentfield.
