I ate at this restaurant for two reasons. First - it was close to my hotel, second - it was empty. The latter is generally something that would keep most folks away, but I'm fearless and filled with empathy. It was a splendid choice. I had the Bombay Special Thali, and it was delicious. The portions were good, the service was good, but the food was superb. I will go back here for the food, for sure, but also because it's *not* one of the nicer, trendier spots in Berkeley. Please give it a shot, you won't be sorry.
