Marica Seafood Restaurant, Oakland

marica is pretty good. the service is friendly and the menu fairly interesting. there is also a prix fixe special of the day at a great price. we'll be back.

My cousin Eddie Kim and his parents took Anna Oh (my another cousin), my mum and me to Marica. Chris already knew Eddie's family, and welcomed us with warm heart. We had a great time there. Food was good. Chris was proud of his Chinese heritage and he had passion for Chinese food. He also packed left-over meal for Eddie's little brother, Ray. I wanna go there again.

We spotted Marica walking along College Ave, with no particular restaurant in mind, and we were very pleased with our dining experience here. The wait staff was polite and helpful. On the Sunday evening we dined some menu items were not available (i.e. cheese and fruit plate). However the wait staff did a fine job suggesting good alternatives. The dining room is small, so reservations are recommended. Walk-ins can expect a 30-40 minute wait.
