Great place. Not sure if reviewer that what asked to leave is real because I had been to this place a lot and there are always kids around and the chef are always nice to them. The kids love the sushi boat and I seen them get special treats from the sushi chefs. Sad about their experience because it is a great place with fresh fish and great sushi. My favority is the Poki sushi salad roll. Also their bake muscles are great. My mom bacame a sushi lover here. Prices are OK.
Today I had the worst experience I've ever had in a restaurant. We were insulted in public by a sushi chef (if you can call him that) by the name of Ben because my 2 year old was crying. He told us to leave because we were bad for his business and that we always made customers mad (which I know is not true).
Me and my family have been going to this place at least once a month for the past year, so we consider ourselves regular customers. Food is just ok, a little bit pricey.
I have never seen this before. You could ask politely if the kid is really bothering (which was not the case), but you should definitely not insult patrons in front of other customers.
I'm not only giving this a 1 star (I would give it 0 if possible), but will try my best to make this situation as publicly known as possible
Thanks for listening and for your support
The boats are cool but the sushi is so so. It's great if you like mayo based seafood salads and sauce topped rolls. Definitely not great if you are counting calories. However, you can also get the pieces instead of the rolls. The service is lacking and not quite friendly. Very noisy and not a date type of atmoshere.
I have a positive review. I love the noisy ambience, rolls at your request at the sushi bar, steaming hot washcloths, and fast service.Prices can start at around $2 to $4 a plate and if you are carb conscious, I highly recommend the sashimi and the miso is halfway decent...Yummmm!
