Let me just start this review by saying I m typing with my middle finger. Me and my family used to go to Scandia a lot. Last week I had gone there with my family and was attacked and assaulted in their Go-Karts Line by a bunch of big adult women. The family who attacked us had the stupidest reason, they claimed we were staring at them. We all could tell very clear that they were heavily on drugs. I was dragged by my hair on the asphalt floor and kicked by many people in that group of 10 women. My mom who came to protect me was 6 months pregnant and was kicked in the stomach as well. So where was security? There are always maybe at least 2 security guards hanging around doing nothing. That night they didn’t do anything but watch the whole fight and approached us after we called 911. Scandia is the worst place to go because they don’t protect children. We were all minors under the age of 17 and were attacked by adults over the age of 25. Their security allowed violent behavior and management didn’t even come out to check if we were ok.
We're family new to the area. Today was our first visit....and our last! Golf course was run down...most fountains and ponds...empty. Games...ate up tokens. Food...extremely overpriced. Children's Clubhouse...$5 per child for something they can do for free at McDonald's. People...scary. We were there less than an hour...took our kids to Chuck E. Cheese and had a MUCH better experience there. We won't be coming back to this place...EVER!!!
I was very impressed with the service and looks at Scandia. The golf course was clean and the rides were fun... especially the new boats they have. I took my niece and nephew and they loved it a lot. The food was a little greasey... but all in all it was a good experience. I recomend everyone try the new bumper boats (they have squirters)
All of the fountain/lakes looked as if they had not been cleaned in weeks and smelled even worse. There were obscene pictures (male genitalia) drawn on the bottom of an algae filled lake. All the attractions are falling apart and in need of repair. Can't believe they charged us $22.50 for 2 adults and one child! Should have asked for my money back.
