Mike and I were not impressed. Even though it was late evening when we arrived. It took forever to get waited on even though .. the matre'd let us pick a table out which was one nice thing. We noticed others there were waiting for there service too. Had to ask to turn the music down too loud couldnt enjoy a conversation. Overall the service should have been better. We just wanted to order a dessert Creme Brulee and wine. Just took forever! The matre'd looked unhappy when we asked for simple requests like no bread just dessert. Well~dissappointed in the Creme Brulee didnt have the homemade whip cream just was totally different and not as good as the one we shared on Treat Blvd, Concord CA.
Maybe someday will try it again for now.. treat blvd here we come.*smiles*
Pasta Primavera, both W.C. and Concord, very good food value for money. Fresh and appropriately seasoned, the food is traditional Italian served in great abundance and with good speed and a smile. In one week I enjoyed supper for three in Concord, and lunch for 20 in Walnut Creek, and both times we were accommodated quite well. I'll go there again, and recommend it to everyone.
I love Pasta Primavera, we order to go all the time from their fettucini alfredo is my favorite, ceasar salad the bomb, management is great and very friendly and the absolute best desserts. Prices are more than reasonable atmosphere if your dining in is very diverse, love it!
Unfortunately my review is not as complimentary as some. It was my birthday and I invited my family to celebrate with me at Pasta Primavera in WC. First, the waitress spilled red wine on my daughter-in-law's lap! No apologies, just set the bottle on the table and left. Took our order without writing it down and got 3 out of 5 wrong! None of us will EVER dine there again and will be sure to tell all our friends about our horific experience!!
You can find Pasta Primavera in the shopping area at the corner of Treat Blvd and Clayton Road in Concord. The menu has changed a little, but the food and service remain excellent. Love that bread and spread! On my last visit I had the butternut ravioli with florentine sauce...YUM!! I've been going to Pasta Primavera, off and on, for 8 years now. It's a nice spot for lunch or dinner.
Not too many items on the menu, but something for everyone. Quality food and the bread is fresh. Don't forget to try the spread for the bread before dinner. Once you try it you can't stop. Set right off busy street with big window looking toward street. Big mirror on north side of building that takes up whole wall that makes this semi small restaraunt look bigger. Last time I was there a young kid got up from his seat to go to the restroom and walked right into it. Very funny. Everyone is freindly and usually someone there to greet you at the door and to let you out. Will go there again.
