Kasper's Hot Dogs, San Leandro

I have always liked Kaspers and the food is good, it’s just that the elderly woman that runs it at this one has a very big attitude problem. I don’t think I have ever seen her smile, she always has some kind of sharp stabbing comments, and always acts mean and nasty. Also, when you get ready to pay, she will not say anything, she just holds out her hand and stares at you until you figure out how much you owe. I don’t suggest going here when there is a better Kaspers in the Greenhouse Shopping Center just 2 miles away, that’s were me and my friends get hot dogs now.

I love this place. Nothing beats that snap when you bite into this dog. Everything is perfect from the yellow mustard, sliced tomatos (not ketchup- you heathens), diced onions, slathering of relish, that tender, steamed bun. AHHHHHHHHHH. They do it other ways with chili, cheese, kraut, dijon mustard, etc. What a happy day! Get two, one for on the spot and one to go. Wait, make that three - don't be a chump, bring one home for your girlfriend or mom or granny (or for yourself in case that second one didn't quite last til home).
