high prices and owner is not kind to costomers. hair in the food... but she didn't say sorry... it's awful....

Ordered to go for family dinner for 3... For appetizers, I ordered the fried crispy egg rolls menu selection #1, this was the best I have eaten and tried so far of all Vietnamese Restaurant, it very light, thinner than the usual ones I have beforehard... it's the best and very delicious.. A perfect 10 !!! For Pho soup... I ordered the #7 Halan Special Combo and #8 Rare thin slice steak beef both large sizes.... The best soup broth and it brought out the full flavor for both soups. generous serving sizes and more than enough servings for 4 adults for large size soup. The condiments was very fresh and carefully packaged for take out order. For rice vermecelli ... I order the #14 - Halan Special Combo... The waitress was nice enough to give me a shrimp roll since I already have the egg rolls ordered seperately.... This was a very good selection, the grilled pork was very tender and thin sliced, it was so tasty and delicious... the 2 grilled shrimps was large for size and it was just perfectly grilled and not overcooked. it was again very tasty and delicious !!! I highly recommend this place if you live in San Leandro or just visiting. A+++

This place need to give more noodles for the price they charge. I don't recommend this resturant unless you're desperate.They are over charging customers because HALAN is the only vietnamese resturant around. Next time if I order a super bowl, I expect to see it!

A local treasure, perfect for the dining experience, from the time you walk in to the time you walk out, the service is marvelous. great for the family, the kids will love the noodles. %100 recommended to everyone. great for anytime of the day. breakfast, lunch, dinner! you name it.
