The Warehouse Cafe occupies a historic building on Canyon Lake Drive. Breathing new life into this 1889 landmark, this place is a popular watering hole in this small town. On offer are over 200 globe-spanning beers as well as generously-potent cocktails. The ambiance is like no other. The interiors are replete with antiques, artifacts and eclectic decor; the highlight being the massive polar bear taxidermy.
Not a better place to have a beer in CA, or so it was in 1991 when I left the Bay area. They had a great beer selection, and a quiet place to watch the water go by. The downtown is greatly out of place for the Bay area, hell for the 20 or 21st century.
