The food started out okay but has gone dowhill fast. I have been a regular Friday night customer for almost a year. I always get dinner to go. The same employee is always there and still has to ask me if this is to go. My order for this last Friday night (10/26) was horrible. I ordered flautas and they were not cooked, only meat wrapped in a luke warm tortillia. The whole dinner looked like it was just tossed into the container. Really ugly looking. I am not going back.
This is the honest to goodness best true Mexican food we've found around here. It has also recently transformed from a dive joint to a swankier, bright Mexican establishment. It's still a small place, but clean and inspiring! It is totally family-run. The matriarch does the cooking. The daughters and aunt do the serving. A MUST-try! You will surely return frequently. Great salsa and chips. I highly recommend the carne asada, steak ranchero, chimichangas, and caldos!
