My mother and I went and we were very disappointing. The Greek salad was okay if you like pickled romaine but the Warm Spinach salad was swimming in sauce (inedible). The waiter was requested several times as the quality of service was terrible. We were not asked for a second glass of wine and we were ignored when the restaurant was not crowded at 2pm lunch during the week. We basically sat and waited for the bill with dirty plates and empty glasses. We won't be going back, the prices are outrageous for the quality of service and horrible food.
Second trip to Baci in a year. Very dissappointed again.
Poor service old Salmon, very fishy taste. First time, two rotten steaks were served to me. They actually smelled rotten. I wondered how could they even serve them? Couple arrived ten minutes after we were there and they received service before us. The lettuce wedge was fine. I was told that I would get mashed potatoes with my dinnerand received Rissoto, which I should have been asked if I wanted. Paid my bill and left. No Mas
We had a wonderful dining experience at Baci this past week. The food was affordably priced for the portion size and quality of food. The atmosphere was pleasant, they even had a live pianist there! Service was excellent, as we were taken car of from beginning to end. My personal favorite was the Ribeye as my entree, and the creme brulee for dessert! Friendly servers and staff. Nice place to go, whether on business dinners or celebrating a family birthday!
Tried this restaurant a couple of weeks ago and was impressed with my overall experience. I started with the clam chowder soup, which was excellent. Then, for the main course, I had the filet mignon at $28. The filet mignon came to my table as I had ordered it. Excellent filet mignon. The potatoes and vegatables that accompanied with the filet mignon was good as well. The service was marvelous and better than the previous night at Vaqueros in San Jose. The waitress took extremely good care of me from the beginning to the end, which is why I gave a bigger tip than normal.
This is a very upscale restaurant in a standard shopping center. Would go all the time, if I lived in the Tri-Valley area.
