i went to nicks tonight ordered hamburgers and a chicken strip dinner, i was so dissapointed in the food and will not ever eat there again, the chicken strips was so grosssssssss. and the fries were gross too. no more, i will eat cereal next time would have tasted better. I would give them a -star but they don t have that rating.
A number of years ago,I took my Mother to Nick s,for Mother s Day Breakfast.
She loved it and so did I. We made plans to have Mother s Day Breakfast there, every year. That wasn t to be,though. I was able to take her there twice. I was her primary care giver for 5 years. Mum died on December 2,2009. We had been able to go to Nick s twice. Now,every year,I m going to Breakfast,on Mother s Day there.I do it because she enjoyed it so much. The forst time that I took her,she had the 4 egg cheese omlet.Whem we were finished,I reamrked thst she had eaten almost of of that omlet and I said, Mum,that was a 4 egg omlet! and she said, I know...I was hungry . She had left 2 little bites of the omlet. Now,remembering her,on Mothre s Day,I continue to go to Nick s,as I will this year. We really had a good time. She had to use a walker and we were lucky enough to find a booth next to the door. Thank you for providing those memories. Everything was so,delicious and there was plenty of it.

I normally hit Nick's during the nocturnal hours due to my work schedule. I have the beautiful large green salad w/everything..veggies are fresh and crisp! Also, their breakfast is d-licious!!!
Monica is an absolute sweetheart! For all of those other nocturnal workers, if you want some good eating and excellent customer service, head over to Nick's and see Monica!
ACSO loves her!!!
we have to say whenever victoria is working you are gonna feel special she serves up prime rib to die for at 13;50 aplate every fri nite we love it ! and we keep coming back for more, thank u victoria ur great! 5stars
We Eat at Nick's Restaurant almost every week. We enjoy our waitress usually Victoria. She is very cheerful and she makes us feel like were in a home setting. The Booths could use a major overhaul. I am very short and the booth's bottom out and I feel like my chin is on the table. This would be a very wise investment since they are so old and outdated compared to other restaurants. The owner needs to sit in every booth for 45 min a day and see what he thinks. The food is great and you never leave hungry and have some leftovers for lunch the next day. We have never had anything that we didn't like there. This place is only up the street from our house and after working all day it is nice to have someone else cook and pamper us with a good meal and some nice pleasant conversation and personal attention. See you next week again.
The decor needs a serious update, but that is all part of the charm at Nick's. Also, don't take it personally when the older waitress seems a little brash... that's just how she is. Their staff is really no-nonsense and all about getting your order quick so they can give you your food quick. And the breakfasts are great! I haven't had much luck with the sandwiches however. Stay away from the chicken sandwich! It was very very greasy (and I was looking for a healthier option). The chicken quesadilla is pretty bad too. The best part about Nick's is they are open 24-7, so it's really convenient.
Kid friendly & tasty !
I would like to start by saying this was one great meal ! I walked into Nick's Family Restaurant with a group of 10, and this was not a problem. We were greated by a friendly waitress. Our drink order was immediatly taken, once drinks arrived we were able to pick from one large menue I believe it was 5 pages long. The hardest part was choosing what to eat. Italian Food , American Food , Mexican Food , even Greek Food. I would reccomend asking for a to go box , and leave room for desert. If you ask for the apple pie a la mode you will wonder why you ever ate at another place.
We have breakfast every weekend at Nick's when we are in town. The people working here are very nice. Our favorites are the Bacon, Ham and Egg Sandwich and the Bacon and Artichoke Omelet. Ask for the 'small' omelet if you are not too hungry. You will never leave this place hungry. Also, Nick's is the only local restaurant we found that is children friendly.
