Giardino, Lafayette

We have been here at least 6 times over the past 2 years. It is a small, intimate restaurant with consistently wonderful service and food. As a former restaurant owner, I can not help but admire the cozy attentiveness to details. Great for couples.

Myself and a friend went to Giardino's toady, June 12th, the service was terrible, we waited for our dinner for 40 min., at a time when it was not very busy (only 4 other tables occupied), our waiter left 1 pitcher of water decided that was all we needed, because we never received a refill, well, it was o.k. to chew on the ice, the food was mediocre at best, when we asked for our checks separately the waiter was inconvenienced, but he never asked us how we intented to pay, all in all the service was the worst we had in a long time, we will not go there again,
