Dino's Family Restaurant, Fremont

There seems to be people raving about this joint, but I just don't see it. Okay, it's nice and quiet. Also, I understand that I'm rating a small diner. Perhaps my 5 stars are different from others. It was good...nothing to shake a stick at, but not five star great.

Also, I have a correction for the other reviews. They do, in fact, take credit cards.

This is one of my ultimate favorite places to eat. I mostly go for breakfast. The bacan is the best. The meals are large. Everybody is friendly. You can't ask for anymore than what you get here.

Food is mediocre at best and expensive for what you get, service is poor..... I won't be going back.

Price:average Service: wonderful Food: excellent breakfast and omelets. Quality of the food is consistant. I have been a customer for 5 years since I moved to Fremont. Dino is one of the local resturant that gives Fremont some culture since Fremont is a known bedroom community.

They have large portions but they are way over priced for what you get....

Great food clean, courtious help and close to home

In a town that's been suffocated by a surplus of Chinese, Kabob, Indian, chain and fast food restuarants this greasy spoon diner is a breath of fresh air. The portions are unbelievably generous...I mean, you go to the peninsula to some yuppified version of the same thing and you get half the food for twice the price, plus its not all peace, love and garden burgers so the food is actually filling AND good. An added plus, they serve a lot of politically incorrect entrees unavailable elsewhere i.e. calf liver and onions, veal (not chicken) parmigiana, monte cristo, etc....and the waitresses in this joint mirror the entrees: good and plentiful.

If you like classic 50's American style eats with great service and great prices. If you order the chef's salad, beter come hungry (Its HUGE). The house salsa is GREAT on eggs. Best liver And onions in town.
