Thai Garden Restaurant, Hayward

If you are looking for a good Thai food this is it! The food in this restaurant is very authentic. It is a family owned restaurant that's why food taste like home made. Pricing is very reasonable and service is excellent. The ambiance is wonderful. From the moment you walk in the door...you will feel like home. We had been coming to this restaurant for 10 years now and the taste of the food is consistent because the chef is the wife of the manager who is also the owner. We got to chat with Ping and his wife and they are just lovely couple. Very humble and nice people. Whenever we have friends from out of town...this is where we take them to have the best Thai Food in the Bay Area. And I mean the Bay Area. It might not look very fancy outside..but boy, it is very cozy inside. It is like eating in your own home with a great chef!

This place is great! NOT a bad neigborhood; lived around the corner for 10 years; it's fine, just doesn't look nice. The restaurant is not run down inside; it's typical Thai decor, and has some character. The curries are the best I've had; service has always been excellent. Give it a try!

I like this place. The decor is a bit old and the run down but the food is decent and tasty. I recommend this place for date even if the neighborhood is a bit scary at night.

Terrible, terrible, terrible service. Waiter did not ackn. us and served food to three groups of people who came after us first!!!! No apologies??? And we waited an hour for our food???? I could have went to Toomies in Alameda and got better service and food. Why go here when there are so many great thai restaurants in the area?

My wife and I go here Often. I have nothing bad to say about this place I give it 10 stars Excellent Food, service, and dining experience. Fantastic place to dine very friendly staff.

I don't care what anyone says, I love this place! Great atmosphere, great food, great service! :] Do understand that some places do get busy and we have to wait a little bit longer for our food, but they're trying their best! I can't wait to visit your other locations! :]

I've been in love with the Thai food from this restaurant for a while now. Friendly service and a homely atmosphere make this THE thai restaurant in Hayward to go to. The food is excellent and my friend who loves Pad Thai considers this the place for that dish amongst all the other places he went to. I prefer the Mussaman and Pa Nang beef. Try it and you will be delighted.

Food is decent, but Thai Kitchen (in Union City) and East Bay Thai (in Newark) are better.

We have eaten at Thai Garden many times and have never been disappointed. The service has always been friendly and quick. The food is wonderful, especially for those new to Thai food. Most dishes are not too spicy. We recommend the Thai Garden Seafood, and the Roasted Duck, which are our favorites. The only bad thing is the lack of parking but you can park across the street at the shopping center. The parking lot in back of the restaurant is very small and difficult for a large vehicle.
