I had eaten many times at the former Pleasant Hill location but dined for lunch just recently in their new digs at Coggins & Buskirk. I had the BBQ chicken salad and it was much better than I remembered. Chicken breast was served warm drizzled with BBQ sauce atop fresh greens. Fresh warm assortment of breads were brought to our table and the service was very attentive. Seems the move to their new location has been very favorable.
I don't care what any body say this is not real bbq. we went to there new location 2 days ago and it was discusting nothing had any flavor to it the baked beans were REFRIED BEANS! are you kidding the bbq was the worst i stopped eating it it was so soggy it was like baby food with all this fat and bone marrow and we had the combination of everything and it was all nasty. my family is originally from texas and oklahoma and my grandfather taught us how to make real bbq even the side dishes had no flavor never go there Iwont be going back we even had to wait a hour for that mess and i got sick from the bad meat.
I had heard good things about their food, so we treated ourselves to dinner one night. Much to my dismay, the services was HORRIBLE. It took someone over 20 minutes to even come to our table to order a soda. When my food arrived, I bit into my ribs and bit through the bone into the marrow! is was disgusting. They were completely over cooked! The meat was tough. The salad was bagged salad and wilted. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Food is horrible and over priced.
