Delicious food, prepared how YOU want (healthy choices available including brown rice!), always fresh and packed with loads of flavor.
A little pricey, but the rest is high in downtown Danville so I totally understand. Still worth it. And, delivery is fast and the food stays hot.
We order orange chicken, general tsao's chicken, broccoli beef, potstickers, fried prawns.
Jan 07 update: new owners. I haven't tried it yet. I hope it's the same!
I couldn't believe the reviews I saw on-line. I have enjoyed this new Hartz Ave. location 3 times and each time it has been a delightful experience--as good as or perhaps even better than Uncle Yu's. The environment is tasteful and relaxing, the service efficient, the food as good as any Chinese food I've had in East Bay, and the pricing reasonable, especially when compared to the other over-priced, marginal restaurants that seem to populate the East Bay. Get picky about your restaurants when you're in the city, but appreciate the decent, well-priced ones locally--there aren't many. I especially appreciate that the decor in this location is way more sophisticated than their Camino Tassajara location. Perhaps they had some start-up issues early on that have now been resolved. I say give this restaurant a try!
Not a good choice at all
Their service is fair, however, if you talk about foods, all i can say
nasty === no favor at all
Selection is limitted compare with Uncle yu and De ming
If you do want good chinese food, go for De ming which is about 1 mile from them
Ha's is not the same owner as China paradise
WORST FOOD WE'D EVER EATEN IT'S ALL SALT . THE MINUTE WE LEFT MY FRIEND THREW UP AND WAS WHITE AS A GHOST. LUCKILY WE GOT A REFUND AND WILL NEVER GO BACK. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR DON'T EAT THERE. THEY SHOULD BE GONE IN A FEW MONTHS. THEY WON'T SURVIVE DANVILLE
I have patronized this restaurant and the sister location in Blackhawk for years. The Americanized food is consistently good, and the staff is quite friendly. I've come to know the owner and her sister, and they even helped us obtain some of the nice moistened wash-ups they serve at the end of your meal for my daughter's wedding reception.
