Celia's Mexican Restaurant, Antioch

Disgusting, Gross, Canned, Old food. I just ate there and don't want to relive the experience. I feel like I may puke at any moment. I hope I didn't get hepatitis from this old roach haven. It smells like a roach and rat motel. From the gum on the sidewalk, to the trash and cigarette butts and disgarded packs in the shrubbery, there is a reason this place in on that side of town. Save yourself a doctor's visit, don't go.

Have you ever tried to enjoy a meal with 7 Mariachi band members playing trumpets, violins and guiters within 2 feet of your face?? This is what we encountered on out last visit and when we asked them to leave us alone and move on they simply smiled and played on. My wife and I were unable to finish our meal and left part way through our dinner. When we complained the restaurant offered a discount but ended up charging us the full price for the meal anyway (??). If you want a disruptive, loud and fairly bland mexican meal then this is your place. If you want a nice mexican meal go somewhere else.

Me and my family have been eating at Celias since 1973 when we lived in San Mateo the food has been always great then we moved to Antioch and when Celias opened a new restaurant we could not wait to eat there, the food was good,but we were very disappointed when we recently had dinner there the tacos were like taco bell the shell was straight out of a package the food was not the same the portions were smaller it was not like Celias from before the only good thing was the service.

Margarita and other drinks at happy hour are what has me going back every time.Bar has one of the best bartender (i think) I guess the food is good ate here had no problems with food just loud mariachi on some days in your face as you eat or sit wishing they where in the corner.

i love celia's it is one of the best mexican in antioch/oakley/pittsburg area. i definitely recomment it. alright service, but the food makes up for it.

Celias is a busy place with lots of patrons. Bar is usually full of happy hour folks. Food is good, service is okay. Be sure to stop in on Saturdays and be entertained by their strolling mariachi.

Celia's had the potential to be a great resturant in Antioch. Food is good, ambiance is good but the wait staff is lacking. on several occassions I've personally had to ask for the basics of things, a fork, salt, a refill, sour cream, etc and while they were plesant enough you just get the impression that they are too busy to bother with the small details.
