I had high hopes..
By ,
Well, that's the last time I use Yahoo to check out a restaurant! This place was really bad! The outside is very cute and interesting, but inside, it's just plain CREEPY, and not in a good way. The food was very mediocre, cold chips, OK salsa. Two words: NO TEQUILA!!!! That's right! they only have wine and beer! Doh! This place is obviously where the locals go. It was pretty busy and filled with families. I repeat, the interior was like one of those faux English pubs, or something, only really crappy. Oh well, the service was was good...

Love this restaurant.

My family has been going to the Acapulco for over 40 years. It feels like home to us. The food is indescribably delicious. We all have our favorite dishes but mine is the chilie relleno. We have moved away from Calif.but, this is the first place we head to when we get back there once or twice a year. We even freeze some and bring it home.

Acapulco Restaurant
By ,
My boyfriend had taken me here for my birthday a few years ago. I absolutely loved it!! They make the best Chili Relleno I have ever had. The atmosphere is really nice, not too many lights making it quaint. The service was excellent. I would love to go again, but want to keep it for special occasions so that it does not become just a regular place to go. Try it, it beats the heck out of those chain type restaurants!!

This is the best food I've ever had.
By ,
My family and friends have been eating at the Acapulco for about 40 years and it's still fantastic. I can't imagine better tasting food. I live out of state now and eating there is the thing I miss the most. Going to the Acapulco is the thing I really look foward to when I visit. Long live the Acapulco. You have to try the Chili Rellenos or the Tostada.

Delicious!!!!!!!!!!!
By ,
if you want to have a taste of real authentic food, Acapulcois the place to go. They don't serve any sea food which is great for me, but if you're into chile rellenos, great gucamole, the best bean dip ever, or the best pollo asado that you've ever had then come on down. Service is always nice. Parking can be a bit tough but always worth the walk. Hey we could all use a little extra calorie burning every now and then. But overall this place is great.

the food is always fantastic. Not only that, but it's always good to walk in and see familiar faces. Family owned since 1953, what other info do you need to know other than it is always great. Flavor likr nowhere else. Everyone should try it.

Best Mexican food in the Bay Area. Authentic and the Chile Relleno's are the best i have ever had. Parking can be tough on the weekends and the wait can be a bit long but it is all well worth it.
