Aroma has daily specials for lunch and dinner. They have delicious seafood dishes, meat dishes, pasta dishes etc... They have the best clam chowder soup and their appetizers are great!! Also, if you enjoy drinking wine they have a nice variety of wines. Not only the food and wine is outstanding, but so is the service.
We were on Park Street and before the draw bridge saw the sign for Aroma Restaurant 865-4484 or337-0333. Tucked on the waterfront is the patio to the place. To our surprise, the bar had everything available. The bartender was very friendly and got our drinks promptly. We stopped for drinks which lead to food. We all ordered a little of everything from soup, salad, entree to dessert. Food and dinner wine was good, generous portions, could be heavier on the seasoning but was good. We had fish, steak, chicken and combination dish. Only issue was the bread were small rounds not a loaf, with the butter. Enjoyed the dessert mousse, ice creams and coffee. We all had a good time, service and staff were great, and we would go there again.
For a prime location on the Alameda waterfront, the atmospherer is great. Our party ordered a prime rib from the lunch menu, quality of the meat does not compare with the price charged, service is avearge.
