This is my favorite place for breakfast. I drive 18 miles just to have breakfast here. I sport their t-shirt when I'm chillin in public.
I go for the tosino with eggs over easy on of top white rice with a side of lumpia. Smashing!
The service is the reason I come back. They treat you like family, remember your favorites and always greet you with a smile. It's worth the wait on those busy days. One of the best joints in the Bay Area for breakfast, and I've tried plenty of places.
This is my favorite breakfast place in the area. On weekend mornings, the restaurant is crowded, but the wait isn't too long. This is a family business and you'll see the same employees day in/out. It feels like a small town restaurant where everyone knows each other which is nice.
I usually order the longanisa, over-easy egg with white rice. There's not much places in San Mateo which can fill this order.
This is a great family-style restaurant. Especially for breakfast. They serve big plates of food for a very reasonable price. My favorite for lunch is the 'Truck Stop'. Shredded beef sandwhich w/ lots of meat, cheese, oinion & mushrooms.
