Caesar's Italian Restaurant, San Francisco

If you re looking for the original flavor of San Francisco s Little Italy, this is definitely the place to go!!! Being from the city and growing up in North Beach, one of the things I look forward to the most when I visit is that hometown feeling, the comfort of good food, and having a great time with friends and family!! Caesar s is definitely old school, and anyone who comes from the city and especially North Beach, always finds their way home to Caesar s!! In all honesty, I hadn t been to Caesar s for a sit down dinner in a very long time, and the other night we definitely weren t disappointed when sitting down to a wonderful 7 course meal. Everything was perfect and looking around the table every dish looked wonderful and a great time was enjoyed by everyone.... MAGNIFICO! PERFECTO! BRAVA! BELLISIMO! QUE BELLA! It was absolutely the best and I plan to make it a priority to get to the city a few times a year just to enjoy Caesar s fine Italian dinning and family atmosphere! Ciao~

Second time that I have been there. This is a top-notch, high quality, professional resturant. The service is efficient yet friendly and welcoming. The food is outstanding.

Very good. We arrived a little before the restaurant opened, but they still seated us after a short wait. The service was fantastic. The food was a little different than the commercial Italian I'm used to, but it was still very good. My wife, who is very picky and rarely raves about her food, couldn't stop complimenting.

I've been a 'regular' at Caesar's for over 30 years. I'm familiar with most of the gazillion up-scale restaurants in this town, having visited them at least once, and I'm very pleased to say without the slightest hesitation, that all those over-blown, over-priced and over-rated yuppie-chow establishments are fighting for second best. From the standpoints of quality, quantity, service, ambience and friendliness in both bar and dining areas, prices, and just plain overall Old World charm, Caesar's is second to none. If you're looking for the REAL thing in San Francisco, look no further. Luigi, Matteo, Gianni and the rest of the friendly staff at Caesar's have succeeded in making Caesar's far and away San Francisco's best bet.

Caesar's is simply a great restaurant. I've been going there since I was a boy. You can take your family, a date, friends -- it doesn't matter. The place has a great feel and the food is consistently good. The calamari is arguably the best in the city.

Sorry, but my husband and I thought it was awful when we visited S.F. in 2002. Maybe it's northern Italian instead of southern or Sicilian??? Example, the cream sauce such as alfredo is soupy and tasteless. Not good.

Amazing food and service! I was with a party of about 60 and they still got all the food out in a timely manner and it tasted delicious. Their gnocchi is great.
