The dumplings at San Tung are bursting with pork, chicken, beef or vegetable fillings that are dense with flavor. The favorite noodle dishes combine a rich black bean sauce topped with either seafood, beef, chicken or veggies for a hearty and delicious meal. There are also a few Korean dishes on the menu. But the most popular dish that has customers flocking back to San Tung are the dry fried chicken wings, glazed in a light tangy-sweet-hot sauce. Refreshing Chinese and Korean beers are an excellent accompaniment. The service for the local crowds who pack this place is quick and friendly, but you should still be prepared for a wait.
Listen to the 300lb gorilla - Order the Cherry Pork
I hit this place on a whim after a day at the park and was pleasantly suprised. Sure, the ambiance isn't much to write about, but I doubled my order on the way out the door so I could have leftovers.
Terrible, terrible, terrible! Everything about this restaurant is terrible. Food is bad, and service is bad. We told waiters not to make food salty, but instead they made food more salty, we could not eat it at all. And all of the waiters’ attitudes were very bad. TERRIBLE!!! It does not even deserve one star!
I haven't visit San Francisco for a while, but yesterday I finally stop by and visit my family and my cousin took me there with my bf. Gosh..those dice fried chicken was so delicious. We order two of them and beef chow mien, but damn I can't say nothing can beat the chicken. I'm pretty sure there are more food in that restaurant are good, too. I think I might go back and try the dumpling since I saw almost every table order them and of course the dice fried chicken. I'm gonna miss this place and too bad I can't bring them back to LA. =/
Awesome Chinese food! Dry chicken wings, noodles with peanut sauce, steamed or wok fried dumplings all delicious. Parking in the area is a nightmare, so either come at off hours or use public transportation. There is a self-service sign-in board by the front door - sign in for table service. Run don't walk to San Tung!
i've been here so many times and there is nothing really special about this place because i have been to so many places better than this one. this is not really korean food even though they have all these korean words outside their restaurant. their lunch menu is pretty good but a lot of their stuff is sour to the taste. they love using vinegar/tangy stuff for their dishes. service is not that great because half of their waiters/waitress doesn't speak english and they all ignore you when you need help. only go for their dry friend chicken wings, nothing else is that great for the price.
I am a big lover of good Chinese food and this place serves up a very tasty meal, I've yet to order anything from the menu that didn't please me. They specialize in home made noodles, for a slightly higher cost well worth the difference in price. They do tend to get extra busy at times, so it's well worth it service wise to go during the non-peak hours.
Favorite dishes include the Leak and shrimp dumplings, chicken wings or the seafood noodle dish with peanut sauce. Another favorite is the MU Shu dishes, ranging from beef, pork or vegetarian. But there are so many tasty dishes here, way to many to mention!

things, its flavorful and complex stews. There are many tofu dishes on the menu, but usually mixed with meat ...
