Ebisu Restaurant

Description

The sushi here is really a delight, as it is fresh and impeccably assembled with perfectly steamed and seasoned rice. But what sets this sushi bar apart from the scores of others in town is that each chef only creates these bite-sized delights for the few patrons sitting in front of him. A full Japanese menu is also available at Ebisu. Because it lies at the crucible of the Inner Sunset's parking inferno, leave plenty of extra time to find parking or just take a cab. Reservations are advised, but even so, the wait can be long once you are there.

Ebisu Restaurant

This is the best sushi in SF so far. Its the freshest tasting and has some of the most original sushi dishes Ive found yet. The bacon wrapped scallops, seafood salad and pink cadillac are especially worth noting. Service and atmosphere are nice as well. I cant wait to try the next thing, their menu is loaded with tasty options.

I honestly do not know what all the fuss is about. I last ate at this restaurant with my husband after a lengthy 1 hour wait. The service was forgettable and the food was nothing special, whatsoever.

EBISU Restaurant, Eastwood City in Quezon City If you want good Japanese sushi, go to Ebisu. You can have eat-all-you can sushi for only around P300. Or a bento or set meal for much less than that. You get great food and great value for your money! Last week I had a craving for some uni sushi (fresh sea urchin sushi) and so my friend and I went to Ebisu to satisfy this craving. Yummy!! The Uni sushi was just great! Such sweet fresh sea urchin! The other sushi items, the California maki being my favorite, were great too! Needless to say, I gorged myself with sushi which I had with bottomless diet coca-cola. Can't wait to go back to try the other items in the menu..:-)

THE quintessential SF sushi joint

Expect a wait if you come at peak dining times-- it's worth the wait! Go with a regular who knows the off-menu items. Lots of delicious combos that no one does better. Parking is very scarce in this neighborhood so take public transit instead.

The Best Sushi Place in Town

... hands down. Great food, friendly service, but rather expensive and often there is a long line.

Ebisu is great, but the lines are long
By ,
long lines are expected during peak hours for good restaurants. Ebisu is no exception

Best Sushi in town
By ,
I've been to a ton of sushi restaurants, and Ebisu is by far one of the best. Ambience isn't the greatest, but the fish is super fresh and they have creative rolls that are the perfect combination. Whenever a friend from Tahoe visits he insists on going to Ebisu.
