Castagnola's Restaurant, San Francisco

we went here in Feb 2013 expecting to get a nice meat, View was nice, king crab was the worst I have ever had, it was wayyyyyyy too salty as was the drawn butter, was not fresh and all dried out, they were so small You couldn t even get any meat out, the shells were so soft from being frozen and cooled more than once you couldn t even get it open. When we brought it to the waiters attention he said do you want something else? I said how long is that going to take, we waited an hour to get this , his response was I don t know That s all I can do The manager came over and did not even taste the crab nor did he take it off the check, he only gave us a discount. We were running late for a concert and spent over 2 hours there was not gonna stay any longer, Bad customer service

Perfect restaurant that s right on the water. I am glad that I was able to take my wife out here for our anniversary dinner. I think it was the perfect place. We had amazing seafood. Probably the best we have ever had. But we were also really impressed by the service. Our waitress was so sweet, I wish I caught her name. But I m sure the entire staff is all the same. I highly recommend this restaurant on the water.

Wonderful food right by the water. The food is delicious and the atmosphere was great. I thank everyone for making my anniversary dinner a night to remember.

Castagnola s has the best seafood in town and it s right by the water where you can really enjoy yourself. They have great service and the place is amazing.

Castagnola s has been around for as long as I can remember. I have always been happy with the services that they provide here and the food is amazing. I recommend this place to all my friends.

Castagnola s has the best food by the water. It s romantic, the food is great, the portion is awesome, and the food is perfect. I couldn t ask for a better restaurant to take my wife to.

The Lobster Ravioli is my favorite dish here. Me and my cousin are in love with how it just melts in your mouth. The sauce is cooked to perfection with all the right spices. You have to try it! I recommend this place to everyone I know because it s one of my favorite places.

I have come here on every anniversary! This is the very first place my boyfriend had took me to. So we made it a tradition to come every anniversary. I hope this place stays open forever so me and my boyfriend can continue to come here on a regular basis.

I was there was for my bday last November. So that is how much I liked the place, I wanted to have my bday dinner there. So we now were a group of 10 and were served by the same waiter, which I still loved. He had this coolness about him. In our party were two children under the age of 8. The menu wasn t too accommodating to them so we had to make something up for them. But that was no biggie. The setting was still nice. we were able to sit by the window to enjoy the view and we were LOUD. If you look at this place, you would think that you cant be loud, but you can. it wasn t busy, so we acted as if we owned the place. they didn t mind. Its an Italian/Seafood place. we know the Italians get very vocal while they eat. So any who, the prices are a tad steep for those that do not like to spend over $30 a meal. this does include your entree and a specialty drink. I highly recommend if you are an out of towner or opting for a nice date
