Hot Chocolate

They have the best hot chocolate I have ever had. Rich and creamy and large. You won't be disappointed. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff was very friendly.

Good food, great atmosphere, best poetry

Every time we go to SF we visit Cafe Prague for their sandwiches and great company. The place is very nicely decorated and clean. They also have great Czech music and the staff is friendly. We have visited other poetry venues and Cafe Prague has the best open mic poetry in town.

A change of taste...

I came here on the way to pick up some licorice toffee in Little Italy for a friend. I had a huge salad called Salad Nicoise--sort of like a tuna salad but ten times better and ten times bigger. I was surrounded by Czech people and Czech music. Yes, this place does have slower service (no fast food here), but it's not slow enough to be neglectful of the customers, and the end result is well worth it.

A place to meet for Czechs in SF

Its the place to meet for czech people living in San Francisco. The food is good, the environment is really nice, and while the service is sometimes lacking a bit, its not worse than anything you'd be used to from back home. And most of the personal even speaks czech, which is nice for a home-like feel.

Our favorite!

Whenever we come to San Francisco for the day, our outing always ends or begins at Prague. It's got a great atmosphere, fresh food that is inexpensive and delicious, and it's not pretentious. It's just a comfortable place to have a cup of coffee or a meal.

Love it when they have live jazz!

With windows that open up to the sidewalk, this is a great place to hit when you want to step aside from the bustling crowds of North Beach.
